Folks,
I need to record midi as wave and at the same time sing along as the midi plays while recording. So that i will be able to have both voice and music together in one wave file. I have a soundblaster live soundcard and a Total Recorder software, plus of course a microfone. My problem is that the recorder only one at a time, that is either voice through the mic. or middi through the soundcard. How can I get to record both voice and music at the same time? What am i doing wrong? Is there a special recording software to do this?

The SBLive has a recording option called 'what u hear' that will do what you want.
