Title: Drum Fills
Post by: Peter Hall on 2000-02-05 05:00 AM
Does anyone know where I could obtain some drum fills to put into .nwc songs. I have used the rhythm templates in NWC already but want to add some fills.
Please help!!!

There's not much good news for you here, I'm afraid. There are plenty of drum track files to be had on the net, even including drum fills, but Noteworthy does a particularly lousy job of importing drum patterns, in my experience.

Here's a good example.

Listen to it with Media Player or Cakewalk or something. Nice drums, don't you think? Now import it. It's tragic.

What I'm saying is you really need to find patterns that someone has done in Noteworthy format (I've only found a few), or spend hours tweaking botched imports, or just do the fills yourself from scratch.

Noteworthy is a wonderful, versatile program, but it does not handle percussion gracefully at all.
