Title: converting tracks from a cd to a midi file
Post by: Steve Jones on 2000-01-01 05:00 AM
I do a lot of singing in church and would like to find out if I could record a song from a cd, then seperate the tracks and delete the vocals, so I could use them for accompanimant and save myself about 8 bucks for one soundtrack you buy at the local christian book store. I have cakewalk professional 5?

Try this AnalogX program called Vocal Remover. It's a freeware program and comes in DirectX and Winamp versions.

It work well for a single voice but it still leaves the reverb and echo behind.
