Title: Note Velocity when using MIDI keyboard
Post by: Ross Werner on 1999-12-27 05:00 AM
I have a touch-sensitive MIDI keyboard--is there any way to have Noteworthy pay attention to the note velocity when I record? For some reason it won't import the note velocity, either when I import a MIDI file or when I play using the keyboard.

I know it's not they keyboard's fault, because I used another MIDI recorder and it records the velocity perfectly. Then I saved the MIDI file, but when I imported it into Noteworthy all velocity settings were gone. Is this not a feature in Noteworthy or do I just not know how to do it?

Thanks,
Ross

NWC does not use "per-note" velocity settings. It uses velocity settings based on the current dynamic setting. On import, velocity settings are ignored.
