Title: Harmoniserr
Post by: Badu on 1999-12-24 05:00 AM
Does anyone know of a good harmonizer? i want to harmonize a melody with four flutes. so the first flute will play the melody and the other three flutes (or strings) will play the harmony. .......I have a melody line and the chords. (for each bar, and sometimes there are several chords in one bar) thank u!

Why not put the "melody line" by itself on ONE staff, and then add another staff below it to put the "harmony" on?

It is quite interesting that you consider Band-In-A-Box "crappy," yet it is the only product providing harmonizing capability that seems to come to mind!

I would suggest, friend, that you not take music theory at just about any college or university. Since Band-In-A-Box is taking campuses by storm, it is going to be quite difficult for you to avoid it. I believe that these professors understand why. You obviously don't.
