Title: Can not put tie
Post by: FrankSit on 2022-08-03 02:50 AM
Hello,
In the attached note, I wanted to put a tie to the note with a sharp, but I could not put it, the tie curve will go long forward to another measures. I can make it if there is no sharp sign before the note. Anyone can help me like the one in the song sheet?.

Thank you.

Frank

Assuming a treble clef, the first note is a G and the second a G#. You cannot tie two notes of different pitches. So that must be a slur. If the clef is not a treble clef, the notes are not G and G#, but they are still different pitches.
