General Discussion / Flow direction Errors
I wonder if one of you might help me with this file.  Having no formal training I'm still trying to learn on the fly here.  Specifically, flow directions and special endings are problematic for me.  I'm attaching this file of the song BROWN EYED GIRL in hopes you can spot my errors and steer me toward redemption.  I want the flow to be as follows:

Verse 1
Verse 2
Chorus
Verse 3
Chorus 2X
Out

General Discussion / Suggestions
I am addicted to this software!  I do have some suggestions for future releases, to wit;  1...More colors.  Need more dark colors for accentuating different things on printed scores.  2...The ability to stack rests.  3...The ability to beam both stem-up note runs and stem-down note runs atop one another.  4...A feature to enable pentuplets.  5...Guitar chord "symbols" that change when transposing keys.     (Just a few thoughts from the peanut gallery)

General Discussion / Re: Chord Symbols - Part Deux
It looks like my question might have fallen through the cracks.  The question above was about setting a different default size for chord symbols.  I want them to be bigger but I don't want to have to go back and edit their size one symbol at a time.  So my question is quite a simple one;  CAN THE DEFAULT GUITAR CHORD DIAGRAM SIZE BE SET TO A DIFFERENT SIZE?

General Discussion / Staff ransposing Playback
I must be neglecting something...after I transpose a staff I play it back and the key hasn't changed.  How do I get it to playback the transposed notes?

General Discussion / Dots vertically below or atop notes
In a score I'm transposing I've noticed several notes have individual dots either atop or below them.  But NWC doesn't have a corresponding symbol that I can see.  Might this be the same as a staccato or accent perhaps?

General Discussion / Re: Hidden Staffs
I seem to have lost a file.  I have one song but I was saving it in several different keys.  But now, the file I want to import from my MixPad editor doesn't even show up as being there.  But I know it's somewhere because I can still play it inside NWC.  Might this have been saved as something other than a Type 1 Midi file?

General Discussion / itch Bend
Hello.  I'm trying to learn to use the pitch bend feature, mainly for scoring guitar solos.  For instance, if I wanted to bend a 1/8th - A note up to a 1/2 - C note, over a duration of a 1/8th measure then add some tremolo to the final note how would I do so?

General Discussion / Page Text and Page Numbering
Hello.  I'm wondering if there's a way to gives more descriptive names to the user fonts to better keep track of them?  Also, the page numbering font is a little.... no, WAY too small for these old eyes.  How do I make them way bigger?

General Discussion / Sound Banks
I'm not sure this is related to the NWC product so if not please forgive me.  I'm trying to download new sound banks.  But when I do so all I see on my screen are pages of jibberish which I assume are code.  But I don't know what to do with it.  Can someone enlighten me?
73
General Discussion / Drumref Sounds
I'm trying to create a ride cymbal sound via drumref that duplicates a real drummer using his fuzzy (?) cymbal mallets to crescendo throughout the entire measure.  I tried using 64th notes with the sustain pedal and it just sounded like a cricket orgy.  Any suggestions?
76
General Discussion / Re: Quintuplets?
Ack...  Please disregard I figured this out myself.  There were five 8th notes so I just split the 1st three into a triplet and left the remaining two alone.  It's not perfect but at least the measures line up.
78
General Discussion / Re: Corrupted File?
Thank you both.  These are excellent suggestions.  I've also learned the hard way to be very careful with flow directions which can cause similar problems.  That I not the case with this file though because I've scored it from end to end without repeats.  Makes for lots of pages!
79
General Discussion / Corrupted File?
I've been scoring a medley.  It's very long and I'm afraid I've done something to the file. Amidst going back and forth from song to song it seems I've accumulated some phantom notes and measures. I think my problems began when I tried to do an instrument change on one of the staffs.  After determining I didn't like it I tried to undo it, but it won't let me.  Ugh.  Please tell me I won't have to start all over.  Also, are there banks of other instruments out there that can become add-ons?  I've fallen in love with the flugelhorn sound lately...….

General Discussion / Midi Mixing
Is there any good software out here (free or otherwise) for mixing NWC midi scores?  Recommendations?

General Discussion / Percussion Scoring
I think I new this once years ago but, is there a character map for the different percussion instruments that corresponds to the notes and placements I can get?

General Discussion / Re: Chord Symbols
Thank you sir.  I'm afraid I don't know anything about these codes though.  I was looking for the little guitar chord icons; e.g.: F#m, Eb, Db etc.  I was hoping to have them added to the chord library on my screen.  Please excuse my ignorance.
90
General Discussion / Chord Symbols
I love the guitar chord symbols in this latest version. But are there sharp and flat chords available too?
91
General Discussion / Stacked Rests
Is it possible to stack rests of different durations atop each other on the same staff/measure by making one of them a grace note rest?  If so how?
92
General Discussion / Re: Left hand in treble clef
Ok I hope this works.  I took a picture of the screen.  As you can (hopefully) see the third trio of eighth notes are now in the bass staff where I had to put them so as not to fubar the durations in the treble staff.  I think I'll try the treble clef in the bass staff thing though, that sounds doable.

General Discussion / Re: Left hand in treble clef
I've attached the whole file since I'm not very far along with it anyway.  I had to make the staff very high to fit all these notes into the bass clef.  On the sheet music I'm copying the 3rd trio of eighth notes in measure #1 is scored into the treble clef to be played with the right hand.  But when I originally wrote them that way the note durations in the treble clef counted against the measure.  So I then thought I would be clever and just make them grace notes.  But then the ties of the whole notes on measures 1 and 2 tied to the grace notes as slurs.  I don't think I did a good job explaining this and I am grateful for your help.

General Discussion / Re: Left hand in treble clef
Can I just move the high left hand notes from the treble clef back to the bass clef then change octave?  If so how do I change the octave just for a chosen group of notes?

General Discussion / Left hand in treble clef
I'm making a midi file of The Lords Prayer written in 12/8 time.  Some of the bass clef notes extend into the treble clef but when I put them into the treble clef it messes up the timing so the bar lines aren't aligned between staffs.  I've tried making them grace notes but there's till the alignment problem.  Is there a fix for this?
