General Discussion / After NWC 1.75 re-installation...

I've had some troubles in NWC, so I uninstalled(unsuccessfully) and installed again (with setup.exe).
I have 1.75, but I also have 2.0.
(2.0 is an evaluation version. To me, 2.0 is for view others' 2.0 edition.)

I used to use 1.75 often.
When I open 1.75 format, it's opened with version 1.
Or when 2.0 format gets opened, version 2 appears with it.

But after NWC 1.75 re-installation, I get some problems with 2.0 format files.

I want to open 2.0 files, and open with Internet Explorer Downloader, then NWC ver 1 cursor appears, and then another cursor appears. It says,

Code: [Select · Download]

File: Beam Across Staves a.nwc
      This is a version '2.0' file, which is from a newer version of this application. It cannot be loaded using this application version.

I have opened 2.0 format files with version 1.75 (on purpose) before, so I know that the saying appears.
I wanna make it like before.

How can I do? Do I have to uninstall 2.0?

I used to study HTML(Hypertext Markup Language) and have personal homepage ~~(at the age of 14)~~.
There are tags in HTML, 'b(bold)', 'i(italic)', 'u(underline)', etc.
Also there are some tags in this forum, but a little bit different...

I don't know how to use them.

Can you teach me how to use special languages here?

2. Quoting without reference.
3. What I don't know I must know.(And so on.)

How can we make like the example?

First, open a 'piano template'.
Then insert notes generally.

Pedal effect is also included in controller(mpc).
It is to modulate 0 to 127.

But there is only 0 and 127 in NWC.
(Pedal down is 127, Pedal release is 0.)

Can't NWC modulate pedal between 0 ~ 127?

The topic I want to tell you is...

You all know these:

B major(5 sharps) ≠ C flat major(7 flats)
F sharp major(6 sharps) ≠ G flat major(6 flats)
C sharp major(7 sharps) ≠ D flat major(5 flats)
They all don't equal each other.

This time, the key signature is C sharp major, 7 sharps.

You all know that channel 10 makes percussion sounds.
Even has sample.

You may know that changing instrument of channel 10.
Of course, if you change instruments, nothing happens as you know.

But, THAT'S NOT TRUE!!!

You can make sounds such as laughter, bird tweeting, dog barking, gun shotting, etc. with channel 10.

I've never made any *.nwctxt files, just downloaded from this site and viewed with NWC 2.(Evaluation Version^^)

I wanted to view this file with NWC 2 Viewer.

But...

As soon as I opened, there was a cursor warning: Launch Failure.

The file will be opened for viewing.

So I clicked the button "OK" and another cursor appeared... : Improper File Translation.

This file was not created by this copy of the evaluation program, or it has been corrupted.
It cannot be loaded by the evaluation edition of the program.

There are two different nwc files, which has the same contents.
These are named "Standard NWC file" and "Uncompressed NWC file".

I have used NoteWorthy Composer for 8 months, and I learned a lot by myself. I know many properties and options. But there is a problem.
I wanted to change color by modifying option, and so I did. I changed the color of staffs such as 'active staff', 'hidden notation', 'play highlight'. But I can't change the color what appears at the edge of a staff(border). How can I change it? Or, is it to be not to changed?
