I used to study HTML(Hypertext Markup Language) and have personal homepage (at the age of 14). There are tags in HTML, 'b(bold)', 'i(italic)', 'u(underline)', etc. Also there are some tags in this forum, but a little bit different...
I don't know how to use them.
Can you teach me how to use special languages here?
1. Inserting url in images. 2. Quoting without reference. 3. What I don't know I must know.(And so on.)
I'm sorry for askin' these questions, but I really wanna know. Please teach me.
p.s. I'm sorry for talking different story. I'm going to the beach for the vacation. So, I won't be here for more than 2 days. I also wanna see you here (and also new replies to this topic). Happy summer, you all!!
We're on the same boat, piano11. I've gotten the same message. David has already posted the correct answer, but I'm sure that you want to open with the evaluation program.
I want to ask you these two questions -
1. Did you install nwc2 without downloading into your folder before format? (If you say 'yes', there's no way to open with the evaluation one.)
2. If your answer is no, do you still have setup.exe file in your computer (or your folder)? (If you say 'no', there's no way to open with the evaluation one.)
Is your answer is 'yes' in question 2, then follow these sentesces -
Uninstall nwc2 what you're using now.
Install what you have.
Open your file.
Then your file will be opened, but the files which created by the program that you're using now won't be opened by recently installed one.
Sesirine.
p.s. My opinion is my magic.(Can't you understand? Go to the page "https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=6875.0".)
You all know that channel 10 makes percussion sounds. Even has sample.
<Image Link> This is one of the NWC samples, Drumref.
You may know that changing instrument of channel 10. Of course, if you change instruments, nothing happens as you know.
But, THAT'S NOT TRUE!!!
You can make sounds such as laughter, bird tweeting, dog barking, gun shotting, etc. with channel 10. This is my composition sample. Click the URL, please.
I have downloaded, installed, uninstalled, installed, uninstalled, formatted, and now downloaded and installed. I have made that nwc ver2 file before first uninstallation. After second installation, I was able to view that file with it.
Why was I able to view the file with NWC 2 that has been installed for the second time?
As soon as I opened, there was a cursor warning: Launch Failure.
<Image Link> The file launch appears to have been unsuccessful. Your *.nwc file associations have probably been altered from the standard configuration. The file will be opened for viewing.
So I clicked the button "OK" and another cursor appeared... : Improper File Translation.
<Image Link> File: 090705.nwctxt This binary file appears to have been inproperly treated as an ASCII file. Would you like this program to attempt an automatic recovery of this file?
So, the question that I wanted to ask you is, Can't NWC 2.0 Viewer open the *.nwctxt files?
One more question -
<Image Link> I made this file before format.(My computer's been formatted for about 4 months.) This file was not created by this copy of the evaluation program, or it has been corrupted. It cannot be loaded by the evaluation edition of the program.
Is there any ways to open this file (with an evaluation version)?
The NWC Viewer is currently the recommended free program to use.
I've already downloaded it and using it. I like that program.
(I've never tried) But can *.nwctxt files be opened by 2.0 Viewer? I once downloaded a file and opened it with "NoteWorthy Composer 2 Viewer." As soon as I opened, there was a cursor warning: Launch Failure.
I don't live in countries that uses languages like English, so I thought your sentences literally. (I do live in Korea, Republic of. Korea is in Asia.) Forgive me, PLEASE(^_^)
I have used NoteWorthy Composer for 8 months, and I learned a lot by myself. I know many properties and options. But there is a problem. I wanted to change color by modifying option, and so I did. I changed the color of staffs such as 'active staff', 'hidden notation', 'play highlight'. But I can't change the color what appears at the edge of a staff(border). How can I change it? Or, is it to be not to changed?
