Arun, Why not asking the author of such softwares? Some of them can be kind to your request. This being said, I would advise you to understand the contents of a program you're supposed to have written entirely... This kind of software is not so simple. Why don't you rather try to write a piece of software to create sounds, using square,triangular or sinusoidal components? With a 3d interface to modify it where you want (attack, sustain, decay....) There are many impressive applications to this (creating a sound out of nowhere is always funny. To be able to play with it and change it is much better) And if you create it as open source or freeware including sources, maybe it could be inserted into NWC as a module, and then NWC could be used to make techno music more sounding Techno...
Though I'd prefer that it would allow to make a cello sound lie a cello
A suggestion (which is not mine, but Eric's, but as I agree...) about the tips: naming the tip with a keyword can allow people to find the tip they need more easily. For example, https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=2368 is named: Misc:About categorizing tips
The categories previously used in Tips (User Fonts | Inserting Symbols | Printing | Editing | Transposing | Lyrics | Misc) and still used in the FAQ (Editing | MIDI & Sound | Troubleshooting | Misc) are already useful, feel free to use them; anyway I'd suggest to add:
In the NWC users' tips, you can go directly to the tips starting with "L" by clicking HERE (or here, as the case is not important, i.e. "W" and "w" are seen the same for this). You just have to change the letter after "startat=" to choose the letter you want to go to. Copy+Paste the following text into the address location of your browser, complete it with the letter you want, and type enter!
For example, we could have (when the number of tips will be big enough) a quick access in this way: 0..9 | A | B | C | D | E | F | G | H | I | J | K | L | M | N | O | P | Q | R | S | T | U | V | W | X | Y | Z | others
In the same way, we could display only the 50 oldest tips, which may have been reviewed since they were written...
Supposing your values over here are correct: Let's name tempo the tempo (say 60 beats per minute); Let's name standard the number of the notes of the type you use that fits into a beat (say 8, if you use 32ths in 4/4); Let's name extra the number of the notes that are over standard, so extra+standard = the number of notes you want; (say 3 for a 11-uplet)
Then the tempo must be added by: tempo*extra/standard
In other words, the new tempo = tempo * (1 + extra/standard).
Here is a way to make NWC play jazz - see the *.nwc files I join in jazzy.zip (1K).
In the tempo track (create one if necessary), create a measure containing MPCs (Insert: Multi-point Controller, Tempo) before each half of beat, which changes the tempo. For example, for a 60 "regular" tempo, 1st MPC contains (in absolute value) 45, the 2nd MPC (2nd half beat) contains 120, and so on. Now repeat that 4 times (in 4/4), and repeat the measure (using repeat bars), and this should give a 2/3, 1/3 feeling. You can adjust this precisely to make the 2nd half beat shorter or longer (see below for exact values).
The formula to be used to determine tempo values is :
(T1 = tempo of 1st half beat, T2 = tempo of 2nd half beat, T = normal tempo) 2/3 + 1/3 : T1 = 3/4 * T and T2 = 3/2 * T 3/4 + 1/4 : T1 = 2/3 * T and T2 = 2 * T
The generic formula, for any ratio, is : T1 = 1/2 * T * (1 + ratio) T2 = 1/2 * T * (1 + 1/ratio) where ratio = length (NOT tempo!) of 2nd half beat / length of 1st half beat. For example, for 2/3 + 1/3, ratio = (1/3)/(2/3) = 1/2.

Simply name your directories as "&Voice" instead of "Voice", and you will be able to use the Alt+V key to select your voice templates.
Take care not to duplicate the hotkeys, of course. This will speed up your navigation between tabs. Please note that the "&" character must be present just once (anywhere but last) in the directory name. To order the tabs, directories must be created in the final order (or use DS.exe of Norton).
But for circumstances beyond my will, this user group no long exists. It was not a frankly success anyhow, but it may have helped some people.
As time goes by, it comes that the need will get less and less and more and more people have internet access at home (dixit Rich., which I agree).
It would have been really usable if people on the newsgroup can add it as a Cc: address, but without having to receive it back, which was a nuisance. If you have ideas or comments, or would be happy with such a facility, please feel free to contact me.

Well, it's not related to the tempo, not even to NWC, but to your sound card or driver. In fact there is a delay between when your computer sends the midi event, and when the sound card (or software) produces the sound. Such delay is particularly visible with software midi rendering (such as Yamaha XG softsynth, if not properly configured).
"Another Eric", what you want is a blank staff along with written staff, am I right? In that case, you just need to insert as many "empty" measures as needed.
Enter a whole rest, a single bar line, edit their properties to hide them (make them not visible), the rest for sure, the bar line only if you don't want to display barlines; then copy/paste them as much as required. Go and check the print preview. If correct, then you just have to print it...(and save it, though you can do this within 50 seconds)
I've never seen Britten's scores myself, but I've seen this type of notation often --especially when computer-printed, with other sofwtare than NWC. Personnally it's seems perfectly correct to me, but it may be because the most "remarkable" place I saw a duplet written this way (dotted notes) was during a final exam at the Conservatoire (national french music school). Many people had troubles with it, as some people also have trouble with Fb or Bsharp. It should be known by a sight-reader, but it is uncommon so it may need an explanation for a choir, for instance. BTW, I once used the dotted notation to explain how a duplet had to be sing, because the bass section was singing triplets, and the soprano couldn't sing the duplet correctly. So I drew it as 6 16ths, grouped by 2 (triplets) or 3 (duplets), then rewriting it as eighths and dotted eighths. And it worked...
Oh, and about the original subject of this thread: now NWC allows you to perform a "line break" where you want (at least if it doesn't do it before). Use "force system break" in the bar properties. See https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=1410. I don't remember the first version of NWC which allowed it, probably 1.70 (at this time it is 1.75.2), two years ago or so.
When I say "it's not possible with NWC directly", I just mean that it is not a "tempo variance" item as you would with a "normal" fermata. But you don't need extra software than NWC to do this
