General Discussion / Removing text from an .nwv file
Hello.
I am trying to remove the ENGLISH lyrics/text from a  .nwc file from the Scriptorum, so that I can use the file for German users.
How can I remove them, as the delete command doesnt seem to respond?

Final question MusicJohn:
Your files are in Midi format - it's quite possible that our choir master (mistress in fact) may make changes to the score, tempi etc etc;  did you by any chance  write the The Armed Man files in .nwc format (Noteworthy)?  If so, then I could edit any small changes necessary. Don't know how to do this in Midi format.

Thanks, MusicJohn,  Wonderful site, just what the doctor ordered!  Wish I had Googled it before;  I can now dump all my previous labours.

General Discussion / Re: How do I .....?
Thanks all of you.  I decided on the second "quick and dirty" of Lawrie. It may look quick and dirty, but in my case it is only the sound that counts, and not the score.  I am writing up the full score oof The Armed Man of Karl Jenkins, which our choir will be singing later this year, and the CD will be for home practice.

With "quick and dirties", I am always worried about unwanted syncopation due to unequal 'counts' between the staffs, but this is not the case when dotting as above.

In the first part of The Armed Man, the bass must be heard as, to quote Jenkins, 'Tap wood of piano to simulate drum rythm.'  Any ideas?

General Discussion / How do I .....?
With Noteworthy, there is no problem in writing/making a triplet.  But how can I make 4 semi-quavers to 1.5 crotchets (see attached Note-1.jpg)?
Likewise in attachment Note_2.jpg (the 4 quavers inquestion must be equivalent to 3 crotchets).

General Discussion / Printing: Fitting page
When I hit Print Review, I see that the score is fitted onto 1 page.  Because the notes are too small to read, I wish to print on 2 pages, thus zooming the written notes.
How to do?

General Discussion / Re: Dotted crotchet problem
Thanks all of you.  I was hoping for a solution whereby the visible score and the rendition woulld both be correct.  Still, the closest I think, is splitting the crotchet into 2 quavers as mentioned, whereby the 2nd quaver is linked with the quaver below. Thanks.

General Discussion / Turns and mordents
Is there any possibility in the near or distant future that Noteworthy will organise the possibility of inserting turns and mordents in the PLAYING mode,  I know that there are numerous possibilites using the WRITING mode.

General Discussion / Smaller scores
When I print a page, I find that the scores are too large. Is there any way I can increase the number of bars on a page by reducing the size of the whole page?
Or increasing, for that matter.
