General Discussion / Uneven Measures With Same Total Timing Values
I'm sure this has been addressed before, but I could not find any references.  I cannot get the same measure length with this scenaro where the total time values are equal in each measure.  I have NWC2 Ver 2.23

TOP MEASURE:
Code: [Select · Download]
!NoteWorthyComposerClip(2.0,Single)
|Chord|Dur:4th|Pos:-4|Opts:Stem=Down|Dur2:4th,Dotted|Pos2:-1
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:#-6|Opts:Stem=Down
|Note|Dur:8th|Pos:-2|Opts:Stem=Up
|Chord|Dur:4th|Pos:-3|Opts:Stem=Up|Dur2:Half|Pos2:-8
|Note|Dur:8th|Pos:-3|Opts:Stem=Up,Beam=First
|Note|Dur:8th|Pos:-5|Opts:Stem=Up,Beam=End
!NoteWorthyComposerClip-End

BOTTOM MEASURE:
Code: [Select · Download]
!NoteWorthyComposerClip(2.0,Single)
|Note|Dur:8th|Pos:#-1|Opts:Stem=Up,Beam=First
|Note|Dur:8th|Pos:1|Opts:Stem=Up,Beam=End
|Note|Dur:8th|Pos:4|Opts:Stem=Down,Beam=First
|Note|Dur:8th|Pos:-1|Opts:Stem=Down,Beam=End
|Note|Dur:8th|Pos:0|Opts:Stem=Down,Beam=First
|Note|Dur:8th|Pos:1|Opts:Stem=Down,Beam=End
|Note|Dur:8th|Pos:2|Opts:Stem=Down,Beam=First
|Note|Dur:8th|Pos:3|Opts:Stem=Down,Beam=End
!NoteWorthyComposerClip-End

The same problem occurs in NWC Ver 1.75c

I know this can be accomplished with layering, but I don't believe this should be the only workaround.

Thanks.

General Discussion / NOTE SPACING PROBLEM
There appears to be a problem in the spacing between a whole note and half note occupying the same line.  You'll notice in the Treble Clef the spacing is correct.

Code: [Select · Download]
!NoteWorthyComposerClip(2.0,Single)
|Clef|Type:Treble
|Key|Signature:F#,C#
|TimeSig|Signature:Common
|Chord|Dur:Half|Pos:-7,-4|Opts:Stem=Up|Dur2:Whole|Pos2:-7
|Chord|Dur:4th|Pos:#-5,-3|Opts:Stem=Up
|Chord|Dur:4th|Pos:-4,-2|Opts:Stem=Up
!NoteWorthyComposerClip-End

However, in the Bass Clef they are too close together.  They overlap each other.

Code: [Select · Download]
!NoteWorthyComposerClip(2.0,Single)
|Clef|Type:Bass
|Key|Signature:F#,C#
|TimeSig|Signature:Common
|Chord|Dur:Half|Pos:4|Opts:Stem=Down,Slur=Upward|Dur2:Whole|Pos2:4
|Note|Dur:Half|Pos:-3|Opts:Stem=Down
!NoteWorthyComposerClip-End

Just wondering if anyone else noticed this?

General Discussion / Timing or Mathmatical Problem
I am notating a piece with many timing changes throughout and have run into a problem that may be a glitch in coding.  When notating the same staff with stem up and stem down notes of different timing values the length of the bar extends beyond the correct timing of the bar.  The bar has notes of the same values, just in reverse of each other.  See below.

INSERT BARS ON SEPARATE STAFFS TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE.

STAFF 1
!NoteWorthyComposerClip(2.0,Single)
|Bar
|TimeSig|Signature:4/4
|Note|Dur:Half|Pos:1
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:-4|Opts:Crescendo
|Note|Dur:4th,Slur|Pos:1|Opts:Crescendo
|Bar
|TimeSig|Signature:3/4
|Note|Dur:Half|Pos:3|Opts:Crescendo
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:#0|Opts:Crescendo
|Bar
|TimeSig|Signature:4/4
|Note|Dur:Half|Pos:5|Opts:Crescendo
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:5|Opts:Crescendo
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:5|Opts:Crescendo
|Bar
!NoteWorthyComposerClip-End

STAFF 2
!NoteWorthyComposerClip(2.0,Single)
|Bar
|TimeSig|Signature:4/4
|Rest|Dur:Whole
|Bar
|TimeSig|Signature:3/4
|Rest|Dur:Whole
|Bar
|TimeSig|Signature:4/4
|Rest|Dur:Whole
|Bar
!NoteWorthyComposerClip-End

STAFF 3
!NoteWorthyComposerClip(2.0,Single)
|Bar
|TimeSig|Signature:4/4
|Chord|Dur:4th|Pos:#-7|Opts:Stem=Down|Dur2:Half|Pos2:1
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:#-8|Opts:Stem=Down
|Chord|Dur:4th|Pos:-4|Opts:Stem=Up,Crescendo|Dur2:Half|Pos2:n-8^
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:1|Opts:Stem=Up,Crescendo
|Bar
|TimeSig|Signature:3/4
|Chord|Dur:4th|Pos:-8|Opts:Stem=Down,Crescendo|Dur2:Half|Pos2:3
|Note|Dur:Half|Pos:-2^|Opts:Stem=Down,Crescendo,Tie=Downward
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:#0|Opts:Stem=Up,Crescendo
|Bar
|TimeSig|Signature:4/4
|Chord|Dur:4th|Pos:-2|Opts:Stem=Down,Crescendo|Dur2:Half|Pos2:5
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:b-2|Opts:Stem=Down,Crescendo
|Chord|Dur:4th|Pos:5|Opts:Stem=Up,Crescendo|Dur2:4th|Pos2:-3
|Chord|Dur:4th|Pos:5|Opts:Stem=Up,Crescendo|Dur2:4th|Pos2:b-3
|Bar
!NoteWorthyComposerClip-End

Now when I use 2 tied quarter notes the bar length is correct.

STAFF 4
!NoteWorthyComposerClip(2.0,Single)
|Bar
|TimeSig|Signature:4/4
|Chord|Dur:4th|Pos:#-7|Opts:Stem=Down|Dur2:Half|Pos2:1
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:#-8|Opts:Stem=Down
|Chord|Dur:4th|Pos:-4|Opts:Stem=Up,Crescendo|Dur2:Half|Pos2:n-8^
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:1|Opts:Stem=Up,Crescendo
|Bar
|TimeSig|Signature:3/4
|Chord|Dur:4th|Pos:-8|Opts:Stem=Down,Crescendo|Dur2:Half|Pos2:3
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:-2^|Opts:Stem=Down,Crescendo,Tie=Downward
|Chord|Dur:4th|Pos:#0|Opts:Stem=Up,Crescendo|Dur2:4th|Pos2:-2^
|Bar
|TimeSig|Signature:4/4
|Chord|Dur:4th|Pos:-2|Opts:Stem=Down,Crescendo|Dur2:Half|Pos2:5
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:b-2|Opts:Stem=Down,Crescendo
|Chord|Dur:4th|Pos:5|Opts:Stem=Up,Crescendo|Dur2:4th|Pos2:-3
|Chord|Dur:4th|Pos:5|Opts:Stem=Up,Crescendo|Dur2:4th|Pos2:b-3
|Bar
!NoteWorthyComposerClip-End

Any ideas other than layering?

Thanks

General Discussion / Glitch in nwc2upd_v2p1z_beta1x00 Update
I just installed the nwc2upd_v2p1z_beta1x00.exe update and opened a choral piece I was working on and found that all the triplets over unbeamed eight notes were gone.  I blocked the 3 notes and clicked on the "Triplet Selected Notes" button and nothing happened.  I then beamed the notes and again clicked on the button and they were tripled.  I then unbeamed the notes and the triplet held.  This is the first time I encountered this problem in NWC2.  How soon to fix this problem?

Thanks.
