Ever since I got a new computer, when I have NoteWorthy Composer zoomed out on any setting further out from the default setting, there is a high pitched buzzing coming from my computer. The buzzing happens only when the NoteWorthy Composer window is being viewed, and it is not coming from my speakers (if I unplug my speakers the buzzing still happens on those view settings). I am using the most recent version of NoteWorthy. This also occurred with older versions of NoteWorthy.
Does anyone know how to stop this buzz from happening?
I'm trying to set my music back to its original modulation wheel setting after using the modulation wheel, but cannot figure out what it is. It does not appear to be 64.
I recently bought a MIDI-USB cable, and I connected it to my keyboard and computer through the proper ports. I have activated "USB Audio Device" via the MIDI Imput Active command. I have searched the NWC user manual and my USB-MIDI cable manual and cannot seem to figure out how to make Noteworthy write down the notes played on the keyboard. The record button does nothing, and if I go to Tools>Options>Midi and move USB Audio Device into the devices used to playback, when I click OK a message pops up saying: "The following play devices failed to open properly: USB Audio Device. This problem must be corrected before proceeding."
How do I make it so NWC will display the notes I play on my keyboard?
For some reason, pitch bends have been offsetting the tempo as if they were a grace note. I have never noticed this before, but all of the sudden this seems to be happening. This especially happens when the pitch bend goes longer than a beat. Does anyone know anything about this?
I signed up for the newsgroup and all that, with my Noteworthy CD's name and code, anfd then it showed me the instructions for Private Newsgroup Access. I followed the instructions, (using Mozilla Firefox) and whenever I type in my username and password (given to me by the private newsgroup access page) to the newsgroup server, it tells me that I do not have a correct password. I have tried this multiple times with no success.
Whenever a new noteworthy document is created, in the info section it has a place for a copyright notice. Is this implying that anything made with noteworthy is automatically copyrighted?
It appears that one of the new features of NWC2 is to play the note you are adding when you add it. I personally prefer this not to happen because it somewhat interrupts my train of thought when I am composing. Is there any way to turn this off? I looked in the NoteWorthy Options and there is nothing about it there. I do not want to turn off my speakers, because then of course I can't hear the song play when its playing.
So is there a way to shut off the function of NWC2 playing the note you add when you add it?
I've seen it used and it appears pretty useful, but I just can't quite figure out how exactly it works... like changing what value does what. Can someone give me a brief explanation on how it works?
The noteworthy player that came with the cd package only works with noteworthy composer version 1.75. Is there one that works with noteworthy composer version 2?
In my jazz band, there are a lot of instances where the instruments start a whole note with forte, then quiet down to piano and then crescendo up to forte. How do you do this in noteworthy?
This is for a Book of Mormon-based game that I'm making and I want to know what you think of this song.
It has 3 main melodies: The Lamanites (the one thats supposed to sound native american-y), The Nephites (it sounds kinda like the Lamanites except a bit more epic-y), and the battle (it sounds like a really fast mix between the other two melodies.)
I've been on other websites' SMF forums, and all of them have had a link to a place where you can change your signature under the account-related settings. But that link does not seem to be on this forum, yet I've seen people having signatures, so how do I make a signature?
Him and I are working on composing songs for a game I'm creating, and he's in the middle of a song, and all of the sudden, when he presses play on noteworthy, it highlights the notes as if its playing, but no sound is coming out. His sound is on, he has restarted his computer twice and it didn't fix, and midi files he plays through other programs play just fine.
