Is it possible to show slurs (when used for phrasing) in colour so that they don't obliterate lyric lines. If not how can I increase the space between the stave and the lyric.
When I use the slur command to group notes in a phrase the lyric is altered so that the first syllable spans the whole phrase. How do I avoid this happening?
I am sure that I have seen posts previously discussing Virtual Vocalist software of various types. I have entered different descriptions in the Search box without any luck. Help would be appreciated. Thank you.
I can't work out why a score is suddenly speeding up.
The song is AABA format with the BA repeated using Dal Segno and Segno so the repeat uses the same melody line.bass and other instruments but half way through the repeat the tempo increases.
There is a swing tempo staff but I have replaced this (in case there was an error) with no success.
I am a bit confused with midi controllers, dynamic variance etc. What is the simplest way to change the volume of an individual instrument in the middle of a score.
I can appreciate that (for instance) a note heard from a Bb trumpet when it plays a note scored as C will be a Bb and that it needs to be transposed accordingly. II want to play and hear a Noteworthy score in it's final form do I enter the notes for all the instruments in Concert pitch and only transpose them later for printing parts? I believe this must be the case because the instrument patches do not differentiate between (say) a Clarinet in A or Bb - but I can't get my head round it. Help!
When exporting to a word processor in order to add chord symbols I find that everything copies fine except slurs, ties and accidentals which do not appear.
