Just installed Ubuntu Studio on my laptop and am running NWC under Wine.
It all works fine except not being able to get sound out (which isn't too bad because I use a USB-MIDI device which I can get sound out of), and the more pressing matter of fonts.
Everything is set to the times new roman font but it all comes out strange. Lyrics, Tempos etc. all come out in a font similar to that of windings.
Bascially, in my music composition there are 2 semibreves that are sticking.
What are the possible answers for this?
I playback through a Yamaha keyboard, but I know it is not the keyboard sticking because if I save it as a MIDI and play it through WMP it still sticks.
I have been writing my music arrangement and one thing has just popped up in my mind that I would really like in the software, which isn't at the moment. (Well, not in 1.75c). It would be cool, if one could use the scroll wheel on the mouse to scroll up and down the score, as it is force of habbit for me to use the scroll wheel for, well, scrolling! I find it inconveniant sometimes to have to go all the way to the bar at the edge!!

Anyway, I am sure there have been many a thread about this, but is there ever likely to be noteworthy for mac? I realy would like to get one, but noteworthy is holding me back! And on the machine I would be getting (a G4 around the 500MHZ mark), it is not powerful enough to run virtual PC.
Basically, my music coursework is for a few instruments plus an SSA choir. What would be the best voice to be used for the choir. I can't use piano as it can't be heard easily over the piano part.
Bascially, I am using NWC for my music composition, and there is a bit in there which requires a timp roll and another bit which requires a tom tom roll. What would be the best way to scores this? I COULD put in 64 64th notes, but that would look stupid when it is printed out.
Hi, im asuming this is the right place as i am not in posession of Beta 2 although this envolves Beta 2
I would like to try the Beta but cant because i have a floppy not a CD - shows how long ago i registered!! Do i have to buy a CD because i really dont want to as i would have in effect paid twice. Please help or if you know anything then please reply
