Object Plugins / Re: Beam.hmm (0.91)
This is probably a daft question, how do I get the beam to reach the D on the upper stave - I've tried everything I can think of.

User Tools / Auto Slurring Tool
This may be useful to other users, I have just written a php tool to automatically slur single notes. I may extend it to chords and rests later if I find that useful. Do let me know if you find problems with it and I will endeavour to solve them in a future release.
Install it in your usual tool scripts area, in my case Scripts\JGASlur.php.
The command is :
php\php.exe Scripts\JGASlur.php "/number=<PROMPT:Select number of (selected) notes to slur:=#[2,12]>"

Select the set of notes that you want slurred, invoke the tool and input the number you want in a group of slurred notes. The tool will slur them for you. I have found it useful when slurring repetitive string parts.

I hope it proves useful - I have found scripts from others in the forum very useful in learning the api, thank you.

General Discussion / Re: Garriton??
Yes you can use Garritan/Aria Player or any other similar software midi driven player by using LoopBe1 internal midi port - free driver available. Then Noteworthy plays to the device LoopBe and Garritan Aria Player receives on LoopBe Internal Midi.
I use this method all the time for orchestral rendering.

Cheers,

User Tools / problem with Noteworthy 2.5 and GlobalMod
I am a bit of a newby with the user tools (although I've had Noteworthy for years) but I have been trying out globalmod with vsn 2,5 of Noteworthy and it appears to act on all staves of a multi stave piece rather than on the selected stave or selected clip in a stave. Has there been some change somewhere - either in the script or in Noteworthy recently ? I have downloaded the latest version of the user tools by the way.
Well - back to the editing.
Oh - the reason is to go easily from open score to short score in an SATB work = change the
1. Soprano  and Tenor lines to stems up and slurs and ties Upwards
2. Alto and Bass lines stems down, slurs and ties Downwards
3. Layer Sop on Alto, Tenor on Bass

now we have a fairly good short score - (may need a bit more fiddling with note positions etc. ) - e.g. for a rehearsal keyboard.

Now if I could do the whole thing in 1 go .. that would be great
