thanks, I'll check out that FAQ.

the real-time recording stops even if I am continuously pressing keys, however notes still are captured on the staff, but they don't reflect the time of the music, just the notes pressed.

hope this isn't too lame of a question, but I am trying to record from my Yamaha YPT-310 keyboard to Noteworthy.

here is the problem, when I press the "Rec" button in Noteworthy, it does start recording the keyboard input for about 5 seconds, and then
reverts to just inputting the notes behind the staff, but the actual timing of the music is lost.

how can I keep the "Rec" functioning longer ?

ok, don't want to exhaust my newbie quota for the day, but here's a general question.

perhaps someone can point me in the right direction.

I want to enter a Quartet score in Noteworthy that has multiple parts (its a four part piece).

Is there a way to do that as a whole project ? or do I create each part as a separate file ? also per instrument ?

I know I can create a conductor's score with all the instruments together, but can that be separated out into individual sections easily ?
