Please forgive me. I would like to raise a new question on this website and do no know how to do it - cannot see an option which allows that.
It is very basic stuff, but within an NWC file, I have a Master repeat section (Open and C;lose). And on the last time through, I would like to skip to the end after a few bars. I feel it must be something to do with a Coda, but I cannot work out what Flow directions / Special endings I need to insert into my NWC file.
But if you can just tell me how to raise a new question on this Scriptorium, that will be a great help.
I have recently changed from NWC 2.5.5 to NWC 2.75. I believe that the behaviour of the Slur button (in the menu in the 3rd line at the top of my screen) has changed. Previously, when I was entering notes on the stave, pressing the slur button would only apply to the next note I entered; now it applies to succeeding notes as well unless I switch it off.
Can I change the way that NWC works for me, so that pressing the slur key button (or semicolon ';') only applied to the next note I enter.
I would like to set the colors for some notes. In the help section, there is a reference to the "Color Options Dialog Tab". How can I navigate to the 'Color Options Dialog Tab'? Is it perhaps available (within Noteworthy) under 'Tools', or perhaps 'File' or 'View'?
I have a bar in a 2/4 piece of music - just one staff. There is a minim (C) which lasts the whole bar and I want to have three quavers (E) which occupy the last three quarters of the bar. If I enter them in the normal way the quavers will only kick in when the minim finishes, so I end up with a bar of 3 and a half crotchets which is not what I want.
I have tried adding a chord into the minim, the other chord being a quaver rest, but that does not seem to be possible.
Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks. Andrew Mozley
