Control on printing.

I thought that 1.50 version fixed MY greatest problem,
but I can't find how. Maybe I misunderstood the sentences
that dealt with print mechanism because of my bad command
of english language.

What I need is to be able to reject one or more measures
to the next system when printing. This is very similar
to the possibility in a word processor to add a "line
break" or "page break" where we want, when printing.

Also, when I choose "extend last system", I would like
that the measures of the last system be proportionally
spaced, instead of simply adding a big space to the last
measure.

Do these features belong to NoteWorthy 1.50, or shall I add
them to the wish list ?

I think you need to add them to the wish list. Total control over the print position of a bar is a big wish, and many of us would like to have this feature.
As far as the last item is concerned, may I suggest that you check via the print preview to see how many bars (measures) are on the last line of music and then prgressively add a space to each measure in turn until the desired effect is obtained.

Do you understand what I mean ?

All right, I will add them to the wish list.

About your proposal, I also supposed that I could do as
you suggest, but it would be too much pain. I will try
to live with a ugly last "bar" (thank you also for the
translation!) until a new version fixes it.

Many thanks for your reply.

Olivier.

I recently asked for a similar function that would be very
comparable to a paragraph break in a word processor. Our
band plays a lot of medleys, and I would like to be able to
start each successive song on a new staff while still keeping
the medleys as a single edited file. I added this request
to the wish list some time ago.

It would seem that this would not be terribly hard to add
to the program. The main problem, it seems, would be to
choose and display a representation in the editor to mark
the break point on the continuous editor staff.

As far as one or two last measures on a page, It's kind of a pain, but I'll adjust the page font to either make that bar creep back to the previous page, or extend more bars to the last page. It's not pretty. And it's a pain when you have 15 to 20 parts, all with a different number of measures.
Also, the page size is not saved (or wasn't in release 1.31.
