Inserting Pauses!

I've noticed in the samples there are some pauses but when I want to put one in I haven't been able to find a command that inserts a pause and I looked in the help section and that didn't help me. So could some one tell me how to do that. It would be very much appreiciated!

I suppose that, like in french, a pause is a rest that has the duration of a whole note. Then, you shall first select the whole note duration (for instance strike the "1" key on the numeric keypad), then strike the space bar.

That's all !

Divided by a common language again!

Americans call a pause a 'Fermata'

Oh! In french it is a "point d'orgue" (or "point d'arrêt" in case it is over a french "pause" !). Then, Andrew, try to insert a fermata...
