My compliments to the developer for spelling "occurred" correctly.  This is rarer than it should be.

Please remove the time limit for edits.
Why haven't you removed it yet? Did you even pay any attention to my request?

There was at least one contrary opinion. And here's another.
Personally, I don't think it should be possible to edit a post at all, or at the very least, not once anyone has replied to it. Otherwise, it's perfectly possible for some malicious user (mentioning no names!) to change their original post to make the reply seem stupid.

But while we're on the subject of removing things, I think your whinging post should count as a first offence towards getting YOU removed!

Goodness be thanked. I am not alone.

When you changed the forum to this one, I thought "Now, I can edit my posts whenever I want to", but I STILL CAN'T, BECAUSE YOU SET A TIME LIMIT FOR THE EDITS, ERIC!

I would suggest, then, carefully considering your words before you click the post button.  Even with that, you can make changes fairly immediately.  Otherwise, your words are there for posterity.

It's sort of like when the judge says, "Jurors, pretend you didn't hear that last remark".  What little I do know of human nature, it seems that once it's said, it's out there.

Has anyone tried clicking the 'Report to moderator' link?

PLEASE DO, ERIC! DON'T LISTEN TO HIM!

The main reason I have never used 'Report to moderator', dear 111 (which can't possibly be your IQ) is that the reactions of others give me a laugh.
The other is: Eric is no fool, contrary to your belief.
Still, I would say that your days on this forum are numbered. I'm going to miss you, in an odd sort of way.

Ah well, don't believe a word I say. I am no prophet. As a Jewis joke went:
- Jankel, when are you going to pay me back the 1000 shekels I lent to you?
- But dear Jacob, how should I know? Am I a prophet?

I have used this Humphrey Bogart line before:
"Leave it there."
It cost him a bundle (20.000 FRF) as owner of Rick's Café and of the roulette table, and save the dame's honour.
So there's your advice (or mine to you): Stop yelling, maybe start thinking, and see a nice movie.
