Title: musical terms
Post by: Marsu on 1998-06-30 04:00 am
Hi all,
I found an URL that can be of interests for many of us : the "Online Music Dictionary". It can be seen at http://thanatos.uoregon.edu/~lincicum/terms.html (or you can save it onto your system for later instant reference).
Not perfect ("Eighth" should have two definitions) but answers to many basic questions.

And for classical choirs lover, the Silvis Woodshed would be appreciated : http://www.channel1.com/users/gsilvis/

NWCly yours,
            Dominique

As the first link is now broken, you can go to http://www.austinsymphony.org/music/ or if you want to be more complete:
http://www.1000dictionaries.com/music_dictionaries_1.html .

And "tant qu'on y est", the online guitar chord dictionary: http://hatbox.lib.virginia.edu/text/gtrchord/

Enjoy!

An update to your messages every 4 years or so is always good. Well done Marsu.

Well, I wouldn't have notice it without the "my messages" link :)
Thanks to you for giving new tools in using this forum. There still are things really worthy :)
