when i import a midi file, and try to change the playback instrument for a staff, it won't change.
I've even tried changing it from the orig. piano to a drum just to see if it would do anything. . .still plays piano.
Am I doin something wrong?
You might want to check if the staff has a midi instrument controller in it. I think that is how midi defines the "playback instrument". In which case find the definition and delete it.
