I'm sorry if this has already been covered somewhere. I've used the search engine, and so far haven't seen it, and would just like to find the answer and move on.
Any time I have a note tied to another one (say a whole note tied to a quarter note on the downbeat of the next measure), that second one sounds on playback.
How do I avoid that?[glow=red,2,300][/glow]
Are you using a slur, rather than a tie? If not, then the answer depends on which version of NWC that you are using.
NWC1:
You need to assign the same accidental to all notes in a tie. There is an option in Edit, Find that will help you find these problem areas.
NWC2:
In general, you should not experience this problem.
