Title: Downloading Crescendo Plug-In to NT
Post by: Don Ferguson on 1998-03-12 05:00 am
I have been contacted by a person who has accessed my web-site
http://www.bright.net/~mrbanjo/ and downloaded Crescendo to play
the NWC song files on my site.

He says the music files will not play on his NT Machine.

I have no clue on what his problem may be.

Can anyone out there help me out with an answer to his problem?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Your site will not let me in. I am not sure what you mean
by Crescendo - is it an application that plays NWC files?
I do know that the original release of Noteworthy Player 1.5
did not work on NT, but it was fixed within a few days.

Crescendo is a player for .mid files.
If the files on your site are .nwc files Crescendo will not start.
NoteWorthy Player/composer can be configured as a helper app I do believe.
However exporting your tunes as .mid files will provide more general access.
The ads imply NT compatibility for Crescendo, it's pretty much the standard net midi player, so it probably really is compatible.
