percentage oin the lower right corner

Where the name of the staff is displayed, its a percentage value, what does it mean? It stands at about 3-4 % for different staffs usually.

It's the percentage of objects used for that stave. I think the limit is now something like 30,000 objects, so even 3% is about 1000! Seems like a lot until you think that one measure might contain 5-15 objects. 100 measures isn't very long.

(PS: I made up all of these numbers, but you get the idea).

if you import an imcompatible midi file, and
exceeded the limit, the notes are
messed up, and at the end you will get many,
many rests at the end, and more than 1000
measures, this happen a lot on midi files
created by earlier version of nwc, on songs
that have fermatas, because the fermatas are
exported to midi files and the time signatures
are misplaced

sorry, the uncompatibile midi file I'm talking about, the
arranger just didn't count the beats right
