Title: Slurs and lyrics
Post by: PIRAHNAPLANT on 2008-01-17 03:20 am
I am putting lyrics in a song, and when I add slurs, they are treated as a tie, and no lyric is added for that note, messing up the whole song.

G'day Pirahnaplant,
That's normal practice - check any vocal score and you'll see slurred notes normally only have on syllable associated with the grouping.

However, if you select the second or subsequent notes in the slurred grouping you can chang the "Lyric Syllable" status to "Always" and this will override the default.

You might do some reading in the manual, Pirahnaplant. It is found on the Scrypto.
You will find that a some material is, by now, ready knowledge for you. I guarantee that you will find a few pleasant surprises there that will help you on your way. It's 1.75 only, but it serves its purpose well.
