Title: Sound Frequencies in scales
Post by: marcocasini on 2009-02-27 10:53 am
I would like to use the naturale scale instead of the temperated one in NWC. Is it possibile somehow? Or, in other words, is there a way to freely set note frequencies? Marco

Have a look at these utilities from the Scriptorium supplied by Fred Nachbaur some years ago.

They may help you.

Synthfont (Soundfont Player) allows you to adjust the scale.
(Several inbuilt)
If you run XP you could use Synthfont VST, VST Host and MIDIOX to output NWC through Synthfont VST.

Also do a search for posts by Ertugrel Inanc - he write microtonal - and may have a suggestion.
