Drum Roll

OK, I figured out how to add percussion, but how do you produce a drum roll, either on snare or timpani? Would appreciate any help. Steve

Wouldn't a drum roll simply be a whole lot of sixteenth, 32nd or 64th notes one after the other? You could even use triplets if you wanted a roll rate that was in between. Try 'em out and see which sounds best in the circumstances. It doesn't take much effort to change the lengths of a whole string of notes.

For snare drums, at least, there is a specific "note" which produces a drum role, at least on my machine. I don't, off hand, remember which note, but I know it works.

Low F.

That is, the F four lines below the bass staff.

Well i forgot what the notes to look like when i played snare. If you could just send me the note and what to do then that would make my day better.
