Title: James Hay's Tune Book
Post by: David Palmquist on 2007-03-18 10:33 pm
I have uploaded photos of all 300 or so pages of my great-great-grandfather's Tune Book, dating from 1843, if anyone is interested in transcribing the hymns.

Go to http://Flickr.com (http://Flickr.com) and search for David in Delta to access them.

(edit:  Yes, Rick is right, search under "names")

They are not in order, because Flickr doesn't provide a way to sort except by the date uploaded, but the page numbering should be adequate.  Where there are two similar page numbers it's because they come from different sections of the book.

I hope some of you will enjoy working with the material.

Seaching for "James Hay" works better.

Seaching for "David in Delta" in:
http://flickr.com/search/people/?q=&m=names (http://flickr.com/search/people/?q=&m=names)
works.

I don't know how long it will last, but this is a nice format of them.
