Post by: Peppermint Lin on 2009-07-25 02:08 pm

I post this topic 'cause I'M VERY CURIOUS!!!(Sorry^^;)

The topic I want to tell you is...

You all know these:

The key signature is F sharp major, 6 sharps.

In Player...

After translating in MIDI, The key sig has become different.

I tried one more time.
This time, the key signature is C sharp major, 7 sharps.

The picture will show you what did it became after midi translation.

One of my compositions has become like this.
But, when I view this file with other midi sequencing programs, it views well.

I just want you to view this topic.
You don't have to reply, but I want your ones a little.

NWPlayer, NWC1 and NWC2 are all limited in the Key Signatures that they can import from a MIDI file.

NWC2 will export this perfectly:
Code: [Select · Download]
!NoteWorthyComposerClip(2.0,Single)
|Key|Signature:Bb,Eb,Ab,Db,Gb,Cb,Fb
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:0
|Key|Signature:Bb,Eb,Ab,Db,Gb,Cb
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:0
|Key|Signature:Bb,Eb,Ab,Db,Gb
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:0
|Key|Signature:Bb,Eb,Ab,Db
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:0
|Key|Signature:Bb,Eb,Ab
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:0
|Key|Signature:Bb,Eb
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:0
|Key|Signature:Bb
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:0
|Key|Signature:C
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:0
|Key|Signature:F#
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:0
|Key|Signature:F#,C#
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:0
|Key|Signature:F#,C#,G#
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:0
|Key|Signature:F#,C#,G#,D#
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:0
|Key|Signature:F#,C#,G#,D#,A#
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:0
|Key|Signature:F#,C#,G#,D#,A#,E#
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:0
|Key|Signature:F#,C#,G#,D#,A#,E#,B#
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:0
!NoteWorthyComposerClip-End
but import is very rough.
Not only are the Key Signatures wrong, but the cancelling naturals collide with each other.
If this aspect of NoteWorthy never gets fixed, it will not bother me.
