Title: Switch from Evaluation version to purchased version
Post by: deernut on 2009-01-08 07:17 pm
I worked with the Evaluation version for a couple weeks, and today purchased, downloaded, and tried to run the real version. But keep getting kicked back to the Evaluation version.

Do I first need to uninstall the Evaluation version before running the new *.exe setup?

Thanks for help.

No. You can install the full version right over the top of the evaluation. Make sure that you are not running the evaluation program when you do this.

Please let me know if you have any more trouble.

I installed it again from setup, and it worked the second time. Appreciate your encouraging words.
Now, to get to work.
I've been using Finale, after using Noteworthy years ago. But have found Finale to be too large to accomodate so many users, that simple layout of four-part music for playback to learn notes and timing of new music was a headache, and wouldn't run on my XP computer without an expensive upgrade.
Was glad to get back to the simpler (for me) Noteworthy again.
