Title: Marching Through Georgia
Post by: Cyber_Hymnal on 2012-04-06 02:43 pm
Does anyone have an SATB arrangement of Marching Through Georgia, written by Henry Clay Work in 1865? I found a Gospel song by Mark Trafton (1810-1901) that uses the music (with different words) & wanted to put it on line, but can't find the music (already checked the Scriptorium). The only copies I've found on the Internet have just the melody, or just the cover page for the score.

I don't need necessarily need NWC format (though that would be great!); even a PDF or scanned image would do.  Would appreciate any help!

Can't be much more authoritative than the Library of Congress :)

You're right: The Library of Congress was just what I looking for! Why didn't I think of that (slaps forehead). Thanks!
